Thursday September 13

Jack is almost back to his birth weight. We are happy that he is making progress. The doctors are hoping that Jack will be ready for his surgery late next week. He is doing well despite a little infection that he is battling. They found it quickly and were able to begin treatment soon after so we hope that it won't be too big of a setback. He seems to be responding well and glad to be feeling a little better. They are planning on taking the stitches out tomorrow, so here is the before- and tomorrow night you can see the after pictures. We hope life finds you well. P.S. Thanks for the blanket Connie, we've tried both sides and everyone is commenting on how cute it is.

Wow, your son Jack is going to be the coolest kid in school with that scar. He's going to LOVE showing all of his friends. Hang in there Sarah & Darren, you guys are amazing and things are only going to get better. We love you! xoxo

We are so glad to hear that things are progressing for Jack. Darren, I just enlarged his picture and he looks a lot like you, poor guy, although he makes it look cute. You guys are great examples, stay strong.

Best wishes

It is so satisfying to see the smiles on your faces. I'm sure Jack can feel the love you have for him. Your families are amazingly strong with tons of faith. Thank you for being such good examples. Love you all....Aunt Bernice & Uncle Varr
